Parker's hydrogenated nitrile KB163-90 (HNBR) a hydrogenation of nitrile rubber (NBR), has superior mechanical characteristics, particularly high strength, resulting in increased strength and durability. Shore A diameter of 90 and black in color.

• Heat resistance - Up to 149°C (300°F) with excursions up to 163°C (325°F)
• Cold flexibility - Down to approximately -32°C (-25°F)

• ISO 23936 for Rapid Gas Decompression
• NACE statndard TM0192-2003 for Rapid Gas Decompression
• NORSOK M-710 for Rapid Gas Decompression
• ISO23936-2 for 10% H2S

Chemical resistance
• Aliphatic hydrocarbons
• Vegetable and animal fats and oils
• HFA, HFB and HFC hydraulic fluids
• Dilute acids, bases and salt solutions at moderate temperatures
• Water at 100°C (212°F)
• Methanol
• Ozone, aging and weathering

Not Compatible with:
• Chlorinated hydrocarbons
• Polar solvents (keytones, esters and ethers)
• Strong acids
